Quote & estimate builder

Make your offer easier to explore.

Give people a useful estimate before the first conversation. Let them change the scope, compare options and understand what changes the price, without sending a spreadsheet back and forth.

Choose the pricing model that matches the work.

For hourly work, multiply estimated hours by your rate and add fixed extras. For packaged work, start with a base package and optional add-ons. The two templates below make those models visible so you can inspect and change the formula.

Say which prices repeat.

The position of parentheses matters. (Package + extras) × quantity charges the extras for every unit. Package × quantity + extras charges those extras once. Put that rule in the page’s wording as well as its formula.

Show discounts when they actually apply.

Add an adjustment such as “when hours is at least 10, multiply by 0.9”. This subtracts 10% from the current amount. Check the exact threshold in Preview and make sure the discount applies to the intended portion of the estimate.

Give the estimate a useful next step.

Keep the result on screen while someone explores. If you want to receive their selection, add a Send Response button. If the next step happens elsewhere, use a link button. PageClay does not currently include payment collection, invoice generation or email notifications.

Make it your own

Build it in three steps.

  1. 01

    Use a quote template

Choose hourly work or a base package with add-ons.

  2. 02

    Replace sample pricing

Edit option values, the Result formula, currency and any discount rules. Update price descriptions too.

  3. 03

    Test it like a customer

Change the quantity, combine extras and verify the total before sharing your published link.

A few useful details.

Is this suitable for more than one industry?

Yes. The templates use hours, packages and extras rather than a fixed industry workflow. Rename them and change the values to fit the work you offer.

Can customers choose multiple extras?

Yes. Use a multiple-choice block. Its selected numeric values are summed, and the Formula decides whether that sum is added once or multiplied by a quantity.

Does publishing send a quote to the visitor?

No. Publishing creates a link where the visitor can explore the estimate. Send Response saves their inputs for you; it does not email a quote to them.
